Tryout:

Teto was alone in her room and was staring at the roof, her eyes glazed with boredom. She let her eyes wander around, trying to find something that would peak her interest. Her eyes fell on a hand held video camera. A big smile spread across her face as she sprung from her bed. Grabbing the camera she placed it on a tripod she managed to dig out of her messy closet. Satisfied she began looking for her mic and cd player.
She began to dig through a pile on her floor finding the mic she grinned and started to pull it out but the cord was stuck and wrapped around something. "Get out of there mic-san." she said as she started to pull, straining, a drop of sweat forming on her forehead. There was a sudden snap and the microphone flew out sending her flying backward knocking over the tripod in the process. Teto sat up, with huff she blew her pink hair out of her face.
Sighing she reset up the tripod, inspected the cord and found no relative problem. Grinning she plugged it into the speakers behind her. She turned in on and there was the ring of feedback that was temporarily deafening. Shaking here head to clear her head she hit play on the cd player and quickly ran over to the camera, turning it on. Taking a breath she began to sing.
Bobbing her head back and forth with the beat, a smile on her face.

As the song ended she jumped into the air with a smile, however her foot got caught on the microphone cord and she tripped and fell, knocking over the camera with a crash. "Awww, mic-san! That was mean!!!" she whined.

"Teto what's going on in there?" Her elder brother Ted asked knocking on the door, opening it only to find Teto on the floor tangled in the microphone cord. Teto waved pathetically, "Hey Ni-Ni."
Ted looked around the mess of her room and then back at her, the camera, back at her. "I don't even want to know." he said shutting the door.
